Starting a glue down floorWhen starting a glue down floor you will want to space it 1/2" to 3/4" from the wall. This allows the wood to contract and expand. One trick to laying glue down on concrete is to carefully snap a caulk line the thickness of the plank plus a gap from the wall. Then set the first few rows and allow them to dry. That way you can press the new rows without them moving.
